SVAT Electronics was born out of necessity. Rajesh (Raj) Jain founded the company in 2002 after experiencing something that brings many customers to our products. After a break-in at his business that resulted in substantial theft, Raj began looking for a reliable, easy to use video security system. He came to realize that video security products were overpriced, too sophisticated and inadequate for his needs. Raj’s desire for personal security, value and quality drove him to form SVAT (Superior Value Added Technologies)-a company that is built around these concepts.

Today, SVAT Electronics is a leader in the do-it-yourself video security industry. Raj’s personal experience, background in finance, and knowledge of product development have all contributed to the success of SVAT and its sub-brands: Defender, Levana, and NYRIUS.
